AICUP Good Citizen Golf Outing
Friday, June 16, 2017
This year's outing will once again be at the Hershey Country Club utilizing their beautiful East Course. Opened in 1969, the par-71 East Course is a golf enthusiast's dream, featuring elevated greens, three sparkling lakes and more than 100 bunkers. Designer George Fazio captured the natural beauty of central Pennsylvania’s countryside with views that golfers can appreciate on every hole. The course boasts numerous natural hazards, rolling fairways and daunting greens, stretching 7,061 yards with a rating of 74.5 and a slope of 136. The East Course has hosted several PGA tournaments, most recently the Nationwide Tour’s Reese's Cup Classic, an event on professional golf's development tour.
There are many ways for AICUP corporate affiliates to participate with different sponsoring options, as outlined in the registration form. Each level offers different opportunities of exposure while networking with key personnel from AICUP member schools in a fun, relaxed setting. The AICUP Hospitality Tent, new last year, will once again be at the 18th hole. Every foursome will be greeted by AICUP staff, have a chance to grab a beverage and get their picture taken. There will also be Gift Bags for participants with the opportunity for Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsors to include an item. Once you have reserved your foursome, you are encouraged to assemble the golfers as quickly as possible. Most foursome hosts invite current or prospective clients from AICUP member schools as well as other corporate affiliates with whom they collaborate. It is important to complete your foursome early to assure availability. Often times, those from AICUP member schools will contact AICUP and express their desire to participate in the golf outing. While no guarantees to complete a foursome, AICUP will work with foursome hosts to place these golfers as well as identify potential participants.
