Economic Development Organizations

Throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania there are several economic development organizations that can assist college and universities with their projects.

In order to find an organization the first place to start would be with the Pennsylvania Economic Development Association (PEDA).  PEDA's website has a handy tool for you to find an economic developer in every county.

A handful of AICUP members support a Pennsylvania Small Business Development Center.  These centers assist Pennsylvania's entrepreneurs and small businesses through consulting, education, and business information.

For colleges and universities pursuing technology based economic development, the Ben Franklin Technology Partners may be a resource.

Several schools are participating in Keystone Innovation Zones.  These economic development initiatives are developing new resources for colleges and universities to be involved in economic development.
