Directions to Walnut Street Garage

Approaching from North or South on I-81:

• Exit I-81 at the Front Street Exit (Exit 66).
• Take Front Street South into downtown Harrisburg (approx. 4 miles). Along the way, you will pass the Governor's Mansion (at Maclay & Front Streets), Forester Street / M. Harvey Taylor Bridge, and State Street. Around State Street, try to get in left-hand lane.
• Turn left onto Market Street.
• Cross Second Street & turn left into alley (after Hilton Hotel) and follow parking signs (for Walnut Street Garage).
• After parking in Garage, exit onto Walnut Street and walk two blocks towards the river. The AICUP offices are located on the right-hand (northeast) corner of Walnut and Front Streets.

Approaching from South or West on Rt. 15 or the PA Turnpike (I-76):

• Exit the Turnpike at Exit 236 (Gettysburg Pike Interchange).
• Take US-15 North, heading towards Harrisburg.
• Take PA-581 East towards I-83 / Harrisburg / Hershey.
• PA-581 East becomes I-83 North. Continue on I-83 North, crossing the Susquehanna River.
• Take Exit 43 (first exit immediately on the East shore of the river), towards the State Capitol / 2nd Street.
• Follow 2nd Street North, heading into downtown Harrisburg, getting into the right-hand lane as you enter the downtown area.
• Turn right onto Market Street, making the next left into alley (after Hilton Hotel) and follow parking signs (for Walnut Street Garage).
• After parking in Garage, exit onto Walnut Street and walk two blocks towards the river. The AICUP offices are located on the right-hand (northeast) corner of Walnut and Front Streets.

• Exit the Turnpike at Exit 247 (Harrisburg East Interchange).
• Take US-283 North, heading towards I-83 / Harrisburg.
• Merge onto I-83 South.
• Take Exit 43 (last exit on the East shore of the river), towards the State Capitol / 2nd Street.
• Follow 2nd Street North, heading into downtown Harrisburg, getting into the right-hand lane as you enter the downtown area.
