PA Global Alumni Network - The Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development's (DCED) Office of International Business Development (OIBD) is developing an international alumni network designed to re-connect Pennsylvania alumni around the world with the Commonwealth and economic development opportunities for foreign direct investment and increased trade exports.
Alumni Network Request for Partnership Proposal (RFPP) - GRANT PROGRAM - OIBD invites Pennsylvania colleges, universities and student organizations to submit strategic and comprehensive proposals to partner with the Commonwealth to connect alumni arund the world with DCED's economic development programs and infrastructure for the purpose of increasing foreign direct investment and expanding exports.
Alumni Network Website - a website is being developed to become a virtual open and collaborative enviroment with a network of alumni, colleges, organizations and businesses. The sharing of knowledge, resources, information, project development and other various issues would be available to all participants.
PA institutions of higher education are encouraged to not only apply for an alumni program grant, but also to develop their own landing page for this website.
Market Access Grants (MAG) - Designed to enhance the capability of small and mid-sized Pennsylvania companies to increase export sales, the Pennsylvania Market Access Grant (MAG) is a valuable tool available to qualifying companies seeking financial assistance and foreign market entry support. The MAG program is designed to provide flexibility and encourage innovative use of funds to meet the specific international marketing needs of the applicant. Examples: trade mission participation, trade show exhibition, consultant fees for website internationalization, training and workshops. Matching grant with maximum annual award of $5,000.00 per company.
Go Global Grants - DCED encourages Pennsylvania businesses and organizations to advance the Commonwealth's international competiveness by expanding exports and increasing direct investment in Pennsylvania. The Go Global grant program provides up to $10,000 in matching grants to partnering organizations that agree to conduct new, in-state events (conferences, seminars, business networking events and training workshops) that are designed to promote Pennsylvania exports and/or attract new foreign investment into the Commonwealth. Grant funds may not be used to support existing events, however, if the event is subtantially enhanced or expanded, funds may be approved.
