Microsoft Campus Agreement
Microsoft Campus Agreement program, managed and accessed through software reseller Journey Education Marketing, provides AICUP member institutions access to significantly discounted pricing on widely used Microsoft products, including product upgrades, and a means of ensuring Microsoft licensing compliance throughout the college or university campus.
Pricing for the Campus Agreement is based on the number of faculty and staff at the institution, not the number of computers or installations on campus. AICUP will be negotiating a new three-year pricing arrangement in 2011 which will “lock-in” pricing for the next three years for all participating colleges, providing members with a savings of 8% to 10%. The AICUP Campus Agreement program has grown significantly over the last decade…from 28 colleges in 2000 purchasing approximately $300,000 in software to 62 colleges in 2010 purchasing over $2 million in Microsoft software.
