Long Term Care Insurance
After extensive due diligence in 2010, AICUP announced the endorsement of a new Long Term Care Insurance provider, Genworth Life Insurance Company.
Together with program broker, AffinityLTC, LLC, Genworth’s new program offers employees and their family members access to a comprehensive benefit with competitive group rates and streamlined underwriting typically not available to individuals or small organizations. In addition, implementation is simple – customizing an enrollment website and communications with logos, plan designs and rates. This gives AICUP member institutions the ability to offer a benefit that could retain employees as well as be an attractive incentive in a hiring package.
Since 2007, AICUP has seen great success in offering group long term care insurance to their member institution’s employees and family members. In fact, nearly one-third of our members have already introduced a group long term care insurance benefit through this program and employee voluntary participation rates nearly double the industry average.
