AICUP Information Regulations Program from IDTLP
Identity Theft Loss Prevention (IDTLP) has created the information Compliance and Awareness Process (iCAP) to help members create a defensible position for information exposure, regulators, compliance, lawsuits, insurance claims, personal liability and consumer confidence. AICUP has taken the highly successful EPA program model and collaborated with IDTLP to modify their time-tested and proven iCAP for Pennsylvania’s independent colleges and universities. Colleges are quickly recognizing that a loss of confidential and sensitive information will have a devastating impact on nearly every campus operation. Protection requirements are going well-beyond policies and regulatory compliance efforts. Business officers are personally liable for the frustration of closing the gap between compliance requirements and creating a defensible position for information exposure, regulators, lawsuits, insurance claims, personal liability, and student retention.
