AICUP member colleges contribute substantially to the economic well-being of the Commonwealth, often times in the rural, urban and under-utilized regions of the state, strengthening the social, educational, and economic fabric of Pennsylvania. With the 2nd largest collection of private colleges of any state in the country, Pennsylvania is blessed to have a private higher education sector that enrolls over 40% of the students and awards over half of the state’s bachelors and advanced degrees. The Corporate Affiliate Program is an important link between Pennsylvania’s business sector and the educational community. AICUP invites and selects Corporate Affiliates as a means of providing resources to the AICUP membership in meeting their needs.
AICUP Corporate Affiliates must be domiciled in Pennsylvania (or doing business from an office located with the state) and provide goods or services to at least one AICUP Member. AICUP Corporate Affiliates must also have an unquestionable reputation for ethical business practices and meet with AICUP staff prior to an invitation being offered. Once an invitation has been extended, a fee is then remitted to the Association and renewed on an annual basis.
Among other benefits, organizations with Corporate Affiliate status receive the following:
- Inclusion in AICUP’s annual Membership Directory, Annual Member Services Brochure and AICUP website
- An invitation to purchase display space at the annual Member Meeting on Collaboration
- Periodic distribution of AICUP publications throughout the year
- Opportunity to contribute the Member Services monthly eNewsletter, The Spotlight
- Opportunities to be recognized by AICUP as supporters of private higher education in Pennsylvania
Most importantly, Corporate Affiliates are provided a level of visibility in Pennsylvania’s private higher education community. Hundreds of AICUP college representatives interact with AICUP in all areas of fi nance, student aff airs, fundraising, research, facilities, EH&S, and government relations – with contacts ranging from Presidents to CFO’s, from CIO’s to Purchasing Directors and other operational decision makers.
