The 4th Good Citizen Scholarship Golf Outing will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the West Course of the Hershey Country Club in Hershey, PA. Each year, AICUP’s foundation provides scholarships funded through its endowment. The Good Citizen scholarships are reserved for students who have shown extraordinary commitment to community service and have demonstrated creativity in shaping their chosen volunteer programs. Last year’s event once again doubled in participation with over 60 golfers raising funds for an additional six $1,000 Good Citizen scholarships. There will be opportunities for sponsorships of foursomes, holes and beverage carts.

Last year's AICUP Good Citizen Golf Outing 2011
The first two annual golf outings experienced rain—2011's event brought the perfect weather for golfing—sunny, cool with an occasional breeze. In an effort to increase participation and funds raised for the Good Citizen scholarship fund, AICUP staff worked closely with Corporate Affiliates providing different types of sponsorships. Bub Manning, principal and founding sponsor from The Quandel Group, brought this idea to AICUP a few years ago and it has grown from just 20 golfers to 65. Not only did we raise almost $5500 in scholarship funds, a great time was had by all.
