AICUP Student Advocacy Week, held both virtually and in-person, is a week designed for students from our member schools to advocate on behalf of independent, nonprofit institutions of higher education. This is the chance for students to interact with Legislators and share their stories. It is important for Legislators to hear from students themselves and be reminded that many of their constituents choose AICUP schools because these schools have been providing unsurpassed educational opportunities, economic advancement, and community support for well over a century.
AICUP Day on the Hill is one aspect of the hybrid approach during AICUP Advocacy Week. This day in the Capitol gives students the chance to gather in Harrisburg to meet with their legislators in person. Participation in both the virtual and in-person event are encouraged.
